Indigenous Garden and Playspace

In 2023 we were successful in gaining a state government grant for a new Indigenous garden in the school. This has been a beautiful addition to our playspaces. Our students have relished the opportunity to use this new space which features a water play area and some climbing hills.

As we have a significant First Nations population connected with the school the Yarning circle has been a wonderful addition to our school grounds and been well utilised for students meetings and the MALPA (Young Doctors) program which is run at the school.

Here are some images of our wonderful opening last year during NAIDOC week. Guest speakers John Brown (Victoria Police), Nathan Lambert (State MP for Preston) wand Sonya Hunt (KESO) wethumbnail_image0IMG_7546re present for the opening.
