At Preston North East Primary School, all students in Grades 3 to 6 are provided with FREE Chess Education each year.

For one term each year, students have an opportunity to experience the world of chess and benefit from all the wonder the game has to offer.

    

Students are taught by Nick Speck, a former Australian Junior Champion and National Coach, who has a real love for the game and a desire to pass on his knowledge.

Through chess, students at our school enhance their critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, memory, concentration, and intuition.
